Embrace God’s Vision
2018

Looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith
Hebrews 12:2

It is exciting to embrace God’s vision knowing that the journey we are on is pleasing to Him. Also knowing that the success of our journey is something that we can fully rely on God to complete. Scripture is clear, He is the founder and perfecter of our faith. He births vision in believers, and believers accept the challenge and then have the benefit of seeing God’s perfection!

God is the founder, God is the perfecter and we become the benefactors of this thrilling journey which begins by embracing God’s vision.

So far in our series we have talked about Embracing;
A. God’s Vision
B. God’s Will
C. God’s Generosity
D. God's Presence

Please join us this Sunday at MAG as we wrap up our series with the greatest thing ever…Embracing God’s Love!

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Jesus loves you and so do we at MAGLife Church!

Come and embrace God’s vision.

We will be looking for you!

Embrace God’s Vision
2018

This week we continue our series of “Embracing God’s Vision”. I hope you know that God has a vision for each of us. For every person He created, He has a plan and His plan when embraced always turns out great!

So, how do we embrace God’s vison for our lives? Here are some ideas. First we need to understand the word “embrace”. To embrace means; to hold closely in one’s arms or to accept or support willingly with enthusiasm.

So how are you doing? Are you embracing God’s vision for you in 2018? I hope so! Hebrews 12:2 teaches us to look to Jesus, “the founder and perfecter of our faith”. He is the one who created the plan. We are the ones who choose to embrace it. As believers we just can’t lose when we embrace God’s vision
for our lives.

I hope you will join us this Sunday as our journey continues at MAGLife Church!

Learn to embrace God’s vison for your life and God will do the rest!

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith
                                                                                                     Hebrews 12:1-2

Don’t miss a single Sunday. It’s going to be great!
We will be looking for you…

“Happy New Year”

Do you think it’s possible to make a new year better by setting goals and hitting goals? Research proves that goals that are set, written down and worked towards faithfully create a successful environment for productivity and growth.

As Christians we know goals to be important. We could interchange the word vision, “Being reminded of God’s word, Proverbs 29:18, Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint, but blessed is he who keeps the law”.

This is the year to embrace God’s vision! Goals are important, what if we look at it this way:

GOALS:

Godly
Optimistic
Achievers
Loving God, Loving People, Loving Life!
Spiritual

Establish some goals and believe for God’s help!

“The Christmas List”

What if you could have anything and everything you ever wanted on your Christmas list this year?
What would the number one thing be?

Not just a list of things on Amazon! I’m talking “Big Stuff”, like the greatest gift ever…“Peace”.
Think about it, is there anything greater than peace?  We hear it a lot at Christmas time, “Peace on Earth”.  Do you know why? True peace only comes through Jesus.  It’s true, believing in the Christ Child born in a manager in Bethlehem and accepting Him as Lord, brings peace. The greatest gift ever!

So, what does your Christmas list look like this year?  I hope Jesus is at the top of your list. Jesus brings peace.  Scripture provides a descriptive list of the baby we celebrate in the Christmas story, who is also our soon returning King!

By accepting Christ as your personal Savior all of these things listed in Isaiah 9:6 become yours forever. The list describes Jesus and the list is yours for the taking…

For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon His shoulder,
and his name shall be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
                                          Isaiah 9:6

Merry Christmas
And Peace…

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,
“Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased”
                                                                   Luke 2:13-14
